Our rooms are comfortable and we offer a range of facilities
to ensure you are able to enjoy your stay. All rooms
have tea and coffee making facilities as well as colour
TVs shaver points wash hand basins and central heating.
Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available. We
are open to discuss options to make your stay more comfortable
by meeting individual needs. The Guest House has ground
floor rooms which are suitable for people with limited
mobility. Families are welcome and there are facilities
available for children, within the Guest House and in
the nearby park and beach.
Three of the rooms are en-suite. Most rooms are very
spacious and some have sea views. All prices include
freshly cooked full English breakfast. Vegetarian diets
can be arranged. You will be provided with a key for
your room and also a key for the front door, so that
you can come and go as you please.
The guest house is part of a Victorian terrace built
in approximately 1868. It is situated in the district
of Roker, close to Sunderland. The property is a short
distance from the seafront, close to many local amenities.

Within the vicinity there are several restaurants, pub
grub and fast food outlets.There is a choice of traditional
British, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican and 'Greasey
Spoon'. Local pubs offer opportunity to play pool, quiz
nights, karaoke,sport on a big screen. Live music is
a regular feature of the nearby 'Smugglers' on Roker
Lower Promenade. Check the website for their programme

Nearby we have some antique shops selling items from
small decorative pieces to large items of furniture.
It
is only a short walk to the National Glass Centre, Stadium
of Light, Sunderland University campus and St. Peters
Church which dates back to 674 AD. We are also at the
finishing point for the C to C bike run from the west
coast. There are pleasant walks starting from the Guest
House as well as several fthat are a short distance
by car.
There is a regular bus service to the nearby city centre
also Metro and train links. Newcastle and Teeside Airports
are 30 mins drive away.
