Sunderland area? The Belmont Guest House provides ideal

& comfortable, seaside accommodation.
Pam Tate the proprietor will be pleased to discuss issues
of family & local history interest and research.
She is also willing to negotiate specific pieces of
research for clients as well as 'site' visits.
The Belmont is ideally situated for access to Sunderland
Library and Museum Local History collections. There
are also public transport links to Durham, Newcastle
and South Shields Archive Departments.
You can discuss your interests prior to your visit,

Pam has membership & links to many local history
organisations and has been researching her own interests
for 30 years. She is Chairwoman and founder of the Southwick
History and Preservation Society and member of several
other local groups.
The Belmont is situated close to the seafront and river
Wear entrance. This gives opportunity for pleasant walks
to compensate for the hours spent searching for, and
reading documents and certificates. There are also several
good restaurants and musical entertainment within walking
distance of the Guest House.
